Seminar : What is Seminar?
.........Meeting or series meetings of specialists who have different skills but have specific common interest and have together for training or learning purposes. The work schedule of a seminar is aimed at enriching the skills of the participants.
AICTE sponsored one day National Seminar on “Modeling on Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Controlled Drug Delivery System” was conducted in the College seminar hall on 7th January 2006 and the function was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. S.A. Dhanaraj, Head, Dept. of Pharm.Biotechnology, J.S.S. College of Pharmacy, welcome address given by Dr. M. Radhakrishnan, Principal, The Erode College of Pharmacy, Presidential address delivered by Dr. K.R. Paramasivam sir, and felicitated by Dr. Y. Madhusudan Rao, Head, Dept.of Pharmaceutics, Kakatiya University, Dr. P. Perumal, Principal, J.K.K. Natarajah College of Pharmacy, eminent speaker Prof. Dr. S.A. Dhanaraj, delivered lecture on “Bioinformatics - basics and Applications in modeling”. Dr. Y. Madusudan Rao presented a brief lecture on “Bioavailability and Bioequivalence”. Prof. Dr. K. Ruckmani, delivered speech on “Biopharmaceutical classification of Drugs”. Prof. Dr. A.R. Mullaicharam, discussed on “Dendrimers in Drug Delivery System”. Prof. K.L. Senthilkumar, delivered speech on “Clinical Pharmacodynamics” and many pharmacy teachers, P.G. scholars of various college participated in this seminar.
