↪   Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) - Tamil Nadu State Branch and The Erode College of Pharmacy Jointly Organized the 2nd APTI National level Seminar and Award Ceremony. The second state-level seminar and award ceremony organized jointly by the Indian Pharmacy Teachers Association (Tamil Nadu Chapter) and The Erode College of Pharmacy took place at the auditorium of The Erode College of Pharmacy, Veppampalayam, Erode. The theme of the event was “Transformative Advances in Pharmaceutical Education: Elevating Skills and Embracing Innovation for Research Revolution". The second state-level seminar and APTI annual award ceremony, held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 9:30 a.m, the welcome address delivered by Dr. R. Sambathkumar, Secretary, APTI TN-Branch & Principal, The Erode College of Pharmacy, Erode, followed by Presidential address delivered by Dr. V. Shankar, President, APTI-TN Branch & Vice-Principal, PSG College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore, The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. M.P. Muhammad Hanifa, President APTI - Kerala state Branch & the Principal of Moulana College of Pharmacy, Kerala. The program was presided over by Shri. A. Nataraajan, Secretary & Correspondent, The Erode College of Pharmacy, Professor Jeganathan, President, Shri. M. Thangamuthu, Vice President, and Lion. R. Kolandaisamy, Treasurer, Erode Educational Trust. Approximately 700 students and 100 teachers from various institutions participated and had given about 73 oral presentations and 76 poster presentations during the scientific session. Bangalore, Dr. Divya Sunil and Dr. Amrutha Babu delivered the lectures on career opportunities in the Clinical Research space. Explore various career pathways available within the clinical research landscape, including roles in clinical trials, regulatory affairs, data management, and more. ↪   The I-Year Pharm.D students of The Erode College of Pharmacy were welcomed with great enthusiasm by their seniors, the II-Year Pharm.D students, during the Freshers' Day celebration held on February 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the college auditorium. The event commenced with Dr. V.S. Saravanan, the Vice-Principal, graced the occasion with his felicitation speech, followed Professor Mr. T.P. Sugumar, Dr. R. Natarajan, Dr. P. Balan, Dr. S. Manokaran, who delivered an inspiring felicitation address. The II-Year Pharm.D students organized engaging fun games for the newcomers, fostering a sense of camaraderie. The cultural segment showcased the immense talent of both I and II Pharm.D students. The festivities also included a delightful cake cutting ceremony that marked the unity and celebration of this special day. The event reached its conclusion with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. M. A. Nataraajan, Secretary   Correspondent, flag hoisted and given the Republic Day speech to the students followed by Mrs. A. Jasmine, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, given her valuable speech regarding importance of this Republic Day Celebrations. ↪   National Girl Child Day - January 24, 2024 Awareness Program (Theme: Mere Viksit Barath Ka Sapna [My Dream of developed India]) organized by Women Development Cell, The Erode College of Pharmacy, Erode on 24.01.2024. The Program was led by the Co-ordinators - Dr. S. Allimalarkodi & Mrs. S. Vanitha, Dr. P. R. Radhika, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics felicitated the gathering. Mrs. Jasmine gave a speech in regards to the day and emphasized support and awareness towards the theme.
