The Erode College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1992 under the Patronage of Erode Educational Trust. The college has now successfully crossed 30 years of existence and committed to excellence in Pharmacy Education, which is located at Veppampalayam about 8 kms west of Erode Bus Stand & from Erode Railway Junction. The College is recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu, affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chennai, Approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The College offers D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, Pharm.D[PB] & Ph.D courses.

The Institute has highly qualified experienced teaching faculties, amongst them 15 had completed Ph.D and 5 are pursuing their Doctorate to impart sound knowledge to the students by using innovative teaching techniques. Faculties disseminate their research publications in various National & International Journals, Conferences, Books and are continuously on the lookout for opportunities to update their knowledge in the respective fields.

In terms of infrastructure, Erode College of Pharmacy is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu which has upgraded smart classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled LCD projectors to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques. The College has an exclusive central instrumentation room with advanced instruments, 21 Scientific Laboratories, Machine room, English communication lab with the latest multimedia facilities, Central library with digital archives & open access e-resources, seminar hall with audio-visual devices and a fully equipped air conditioned auditorium with seating capacity of over 400 people. The college participates in various activities such as Institution Innovation Council (IIC), NSS, YRC, RRC, Women development cell, Alumni cell, Entrepreneurship Cell, etc. To boost the teaching, training and research activities of the faculties and students, the college has central animal house facility approved by CPCSEA and Herbal garden with several medicinal plants. The college also has an efficient Placement cell which serves as conduit between various industries and the students to create opportunities for internships, career guidance and placements of the students. The college assists the students by offering free coaching sessions for GPAT, competitive exams and skill development online courses. Along with co-curricular activities including seminars, conferences and workshops, the Institution engages the students in a variety of extra-curricular activities like sports and cultural events.
